By tigreyes2021 I purchased this product because it had such great reviews and, even though the shipping time was great, I hate it and I wish I would've never gotten it. It doesn't work (literally) and never has from day 1. I have a puppy who is destroying my house and desperately needed something. And now I have to deal with return/exchange policies and shipping back ect. It's a Nightmare! Do NOT buy this!!!!! 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Horrible, do not buy!!! By wndrwmn67 I bought this Hoover SteamVac because I had one in the past (different model) and thought it would be great. Was I wrong! This model has a clean surge button and when you go to assemble the machine, this button gets jammed and doesn't move at all. The trigger button is impossible to squeeze as it is very hard and makes a horrible squeeking noise. I am returning this product without ever having used it once. I will not ask for a replacement. Also, the plastic of this model is very chintzy and doesn't compare to the older model I had. It is very cheaply made. Works well and has a nice fragrance. Hoover detergents are good products, I make it a point to buy these instead of other product lines for my Hoover shampooer-works the best. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Satisfactory By Alfred We used this detergent with a Hoover carpet SteamVac and mixed a capful of detergent in the gallon-tank of very hot water. This did get dirt up and out of our carpet - however much dirt was also left behind. We then pre-treated a similar section of the carpet with Resolve - worked it in with a sponge - and then went over it with the SteamVac and this detergent. Much better results with the Resolve pre-treatment than without.I have nothing bad to say about this detergent...but nothing amazingly good either. I keep on top of it with my in home steam cleaner but I usually use a less expensive carpet cleaner. Though no one else would probably notice the stains, I am always looking for the best way to remove the urine and smells.I was expecting superior urine cleaning, being that it is Premium Pet Formula, and a very fresh scent.
