Fell I have two cleaners Bissell, a heat-pro and the other is even older. I wanted one of these thinking I could buy as my other two have a number of years on them and I had to try to repair the old. This unit has a very good job, while cleaning in the middle of a room (away from walls and ect.). The brush on the shakes back and forth so it will on both sides of the NAP. This does not mean too close to edges and when you start cleaning it does not start putting up the solution very close to the front, so you have attatchments have to get close to walls, stairs, large furniture that you would not want any movement once you clean ect. It is also great, making it hard to clean stains. I do not know if it really clean that much better than my hot pro (I bought it the first time it came out a few years ago - is not the latest model) but not to stop and add water / sewage tank almost as Pickup often Another disadvantage of this machine is that you have to mix detergent and water. The Bissel has separate tanks, and if you want to go up in water to clean a stain that you just cleaned or go heavier on the cleaning solution grimier areas, you can just turn a knob. Even advertising would have you believe that the carpets will dry faster. Not sure if this is true. Do not get me wrong, it's a very good cleaner, and is built like a tank, I'm not sure it's worth almost $ 1,000 ($ 800 and more recently we have that Bissell also heats the water, or keep the good and the heat anyway). We have 3 dogs and a boy, a teenage clutsy still at home, and they keep me busy cleaning carpets. By Michael - ~ The Doctor Manta is not carpet cleaner more elegant, but it's definitely a horse of simple, solid construction that does the job. You control the speed as you drag it over your carpet, and I suggest that you check the infomercial showing the speed to take it for best results. If you have a small apartment, where the model does not need to be broad, but if you have a house over the average size will be glad you have model WIDE. In addition to the instructions, I would like to finish cleaning the carpet with one clear rinse with hot water to remove traces of cleanser do this because I believe the small amount of cleaning product residue tends to cause the carpet to return to the soil itself more quickly. In addition, the cleaning maintenance attempting to use a little less than the suggested amount of cleaner is added to hot water. Use warm, not hot water only, and be sure to empty the collection day, otherwise it starts to smell very bad odor.
