FAQ What is deep cleaning and why is it worthwhile? Deep cleaning is a carpet-cleaning process that loosens and removes most harmful dirt and ground-in grit, which may be deep down in your rugs and carpets. Not only does it protect the investment you have in your home, but parents of young children, pet owners, and allergy sufferers may find deep cleaning especially beneficial. What features should I consider when I purchase a deep cleaner? It is important to choose a machine that is easy to use and fits your needs. Specific features to consider are heater, brushes, design, power rating, number of cleaning attachments, styling, weight, and warranty. Why do I need a built-in heater on my deep cleaner? The Bissell ProHeat2X with a patented built-in heater heats the water and solution--just like the pros. The water and solution travel through the heater before being sprayed onto your carpet. Bissell provides continuous heated cleaning by raising the temperature of your hot tap water by up to 25 degrees. Other systems use exhaust air from the motor to achieve "heated cleaning." Are the Bissell DirtLifter PowerBrushes safe for my carpeting? The Bissell Research and Development department tests products on a wide variety of the most common types of carpeting for durability and wear. All of our cleaning products are proven safe, gentle, and effective on cleaning carpets. Cleaning effectiveness is dependent upon multiple factors, including brush engagement. The DirtLifter PowerBrush system is a crucial element in our cleaning process and a key factor behind our statement of unbeatable cleaning. Bissell brushes rotate like those on your everyday vacuum cleaner. They are powerful enough to get the deep-down dirt, yet gentle enough to use daily. How is my carpet warranty affected? Until now, to maintain your Scotchgard protector 5-year limited stain warranty you were required to hire a professional cleaner. By using your Bissell ProHeat with Bissell formulas containing Scotchgard protector every 12 months, your carpet's warranty from 3M remains in effect. No other deep-cleaning system can do this for you. Refer to the Scotchgard protector warranty for details.
The best customer feedback 349 of 351 people found this review helpful. Addressing the concerns of the analysis by J. Bailey I am a widow with four children 52 years and always had at least one dog, now with three children I was a small dog. This is the third carpet cleaner I bought more than 15 years. The first was a Hoover, and although I thought it worked well, advances in recent years has made great improvements in ability of machines to clean, and design. My second machine was the old version of this machine, I was 5 years old and still work, but one of the guys asked, and when he stressed the importance of cleaning after use, they went crazy and remove what needs to be cleaned (fully unnesessary ), and do not function well. User's problem, of course, is not the fault of the machine. So I asked the selection 9400, which came immediately from the Amazon, quickly assembled, and went to work in the room. With three dogs, I clean the carpet every 3 months My dogs are trained pot, but they are dogs, after all, and unlike me, they can not remove dirty shoes when in the house. Amazing what 12 feet can be traced in a blanket! Yes, between my normal use, and the dogs, I always look for the best machine. I will post some pictures of those things, this site makes ... By the way, made the room I was the first and will base these remarks is a 12x15 meter room, with very bright rugs. Some reviewers expressed frustration fuzzballs that may remain. Yes, it makes this machine so. It's the old carpet, dog, and dirt. It is limited, slightly moist, and easy to get. In this room there were maybe 12 pieces of this that was picked up as I went along. Not slimy, it was not necessary or terry gloves. Then one critic machine leaking dirty water stains everywhere. Again, leave the machine at the end of a pull some water stains. Once you have to retreat, they are absorbed, leaving no stains on the mat when I dirty water tank changing and refilling of the bladder, I throw a towel under the machine for the few minutes I'm gone . This machine is a water / detergent based on clear excess to drain when stationary. All my machines did this, so I do not agree that the unusual. As for not knowing when the bladder is empty and needs recharging, I have not heard the "pop" some commentators have done, but I did not stop and check the level, either. I watched as he pulled the trigger for cleaning mode, and if nothing was drawn when the trigger is released and in the suction mode, you can easily see through the design course, I know nothing, and it is Time to throw away the old water and fill the bladder. In this room, I take one hour or more to clean it properly. People who want to go 10 minutes to get that clear. It takes months, sometimes years for carpets are dirty, but some people will have it cleaned in 10 minutes I just can not be. The trick is to do it, although this is a very simple machine to operate, the key to go in slowly, and the machine does what it was designed is. Get the fibers wet / soapy water, then let the brush gets too deep, sucking the inaccuracy of the machine is cleaned, then spin the wheel, just to flush (I always do, even though many of this because in my opinion, detergent residues left behind is a magnet for all kinds of dirt when the carpet is dry). In any case, to do the job right, this room took me about an hour. This is very short, with excellent results. Cleanup is a snap. Take the bubble / won big the tank is empty and then pour water through the intake holder, any remaining dirty water. All this takes about 1 minute. If my tendency to get a new cleaner about every 5 years, and during that time I have with the machine 20 times, which is a bargain.
