I have a good time at Target, Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot are literally different models apart and putting them back together to examine their quality and usability. I learned that there were more people with Hoover Bissell products than satisfied. I could see the little rotating brush on Hoover products must be cleaned more thoroughly than Bissell is a long stick brush. Reviews seem to confirm these results, but it's close!
